Description
5356 Aluminium TIG Rod
- Is an aluminium - 5% magnesium filler rod recommended for the fusion welding of wrought and cast aluminium alloys containing magnesium.
- Is used predominantly with the gas tungsten arc (TIG) welding process, however, oxy-acetylene welding can also be an acceptable method using soft neutral flame conditions with an appropriate fluxing agent.
- Is suitable for the general purpose welding of various 5XXX/7XXX series wrought and cast aluminium alloys.
